God Says to do Your Homework

God says to do your homework,

This we all know to be true.

God says to do your homework,

So you can be great, too.

God advocates for homework

So that we can be good sheep.

For even if we lose all good,

Earthly knowledge we can keep.

Even Jesus did his homework!

He was good, and diligent.

For all God asked of his only son:

Academic achievement.

God implores us to obey,

And to never question men.

If by our actions we are graded,

Our goal is straight A’s in the end.

God says to value homework

Above all, even prayer.

For at the end of a long, hard day,

Homework will always be there.
